Vivotek introduces IP7151 network camera with progressive scan CCD
Vivotek recently unveiled its IP7151 network camera, equipped with a Sony 18x optical zoom lens and a progressive scan CCD sensor. The camera is designed to provide 24-hour day and night video surveillance. When darkness falls, the IR-cut filter is removed and the operating mode turns from color to black-and-white, allowing for high-quality video even in extreme low-light conditions. The camera is especially useful for remote monitoring of areas such as warehouses, parking lots, office complexes, and construction sites.
The built-in 18x optical zoom allows users to zero on small or distant objects and details. Other sophisticated features include Power over Ethernet, SIP two-way audio and bundled software for 16-channel recording. The Vivotek IP7151 also allows for 3GPP mobile surveillance. This provides users with the ability to monitor the camera remotely at any time, from anywhere, via cell phone.
